My Bio
What little artistic talent I have is limited to the realm of prose with intermittent forays into the world of poetry. I am usually deeply entrenched within the arena of fiction. I find it endlessly fascinating to consider what would be possible if you looked at the world from a slightly different perspective. Currently I am in the middle of creating what I hope will prove to be a fascinating new universe. I find it an amazing place to play. Whether or not anyone else thinks so, remains to be seen.

I have found that after months of constantly focusing on my primary project I tend to get stuck on minutia and bogged down by details. If I step away and allow myself to focus on something else for a change I become refreshed and revitalized, my characters have greater depth, my prose more punch and my creativity seems boundless. This is where lurking through the corridors of dA has become exceedingly useful. I have found it a constant source of inspiration and a refreshing breath of fresh air. Several times I have been compelled to compose a response to the sympathetic vibrations coming from my soul after seeing a specific piece or collection from some of the artists here.

I don’t claim to have any sort of clairvoyant insight into the specific piece of art or the artist that has driven me to “wax poetic.” I can only respond to the specific feelings and emotions that their art has elicited from me. I find that these occasional forays into the world of poetry are very cathartic. It helps to enervate me and gets me out of my cyclical thought patterns, allowing me to approach my other projects from a new perspective. I don’t imagine that very many people, if any, will look at my work and I don’t really care. At least right now, I am doing this purely for my own gratification. However, since it is based on other work that is here at dA, there could be some, within the community, that might find my perspective interesting. In any case if you’ve managed to read this far I thank you for your time, your interest and I hope that you were able to get something out of my work.
